Meet Annie
Charity’s Orphan Annie
Annie came to Windy Creek in the fall of 2004. Her mother had been killed by a car around the time Annie was to be weaned. She had a severe case of mange and was virtually hairless . She earned the “orphan’ part of her name the hard way..it was was no Fairy Tale! Our decision to keep her wasn’t easy and was made only after assurances by our Vet that she would get better ( and ps that we wouldn’t get mange). Annie is now a great bird dog. She excels on wild birds and has become an excellent Tournament dog!
Annie’s bloodlines are from PBF BRITT-n-Co. of Fremont, IA. She was trained by long time friend John Gubatosa and is campaigned by Fly-N-Gun kennels’ Craig Steinbach and a host of good friends (including Jack occasionally) who have been kind enough to keep her ” in The Chase”.
