Rosie is now almost 4 (2009). Best bud Doug and Jack drove to DeSmet, South Dakota to pick her up in March 2004. She is a 50 pound female Viszla with a typical friendly Viszla personality. Living in the heat of Florida far from good training grounds has made it hard for Doug to bring her along as fast as he’d like. She came into her own this fall at Windy Creek with two great wild rooster points..both harvested by Doug. She is from Dobson Kennels in DeSmet and traces back on her sire’s side to Terry Ides’ (Fifield, WI) great grouse dogs.
